LG Folding Concept Phone
Some really good looking designs came from the LG’s “Design The Future competition” but only one was good enough to get the first price and that is the HiFi Folding Concept Phone that can be wore as a headphone, it kinda reminded me of the Nokia Morph Concept Phone.
The LG Folding Concept Phone has a design that gives the user the option of wearing it like a headphone to listen music and even answer calls without having to touch the phone itself. There were details announced on the LG Folding Phone or any news if the company is planning to add it to their production line.

His phone called Nokia Kinetic converts digital information into kinetic energy and make receiving a call, text message of email more visual. It has an electromagnet at the base which allow to shift the weight and keep it in an upright position. User checks the screen of the phone and if he wants to miss a call he should simply give a phone a tap, causing the phone to fall back down again and return back to standby mode. “Aimed at the business user, Nokia Kinetic is an unique phone that responds to notifications trough movement”.

Customized Cellphone
How would you like to customize the appearance of your cellphone? This great idea allows you to build the faceplate just like you would like using different colored tiles. With this, you can recreate, re-design, and rebuild a personal look over and over again.

Retro Concept: The iPhone Goes Steampunk at the iLounge
Last week we picked the iPhone Omega from the iLounge iPhone concept contest and we thought that the design was pretty futuristic and what we bring you today takes you ‘back into the future’. It is the Steampunk based iPhone from designer Karl Vanderbeek and there is only one way it can win the iLounge Contest and that is if ‘Captain Jack Sparrow’ is a part of the judges’ team. I mean this is as crazy as you can get when talking about an iPhone design and it would suite no one but a pirate. The design supports 3G with up to 5G connectivity and magic touch windows with an inboard power plant. Also, there is a videocall camera with a lighting quick keyboard and location tracking. The photographic abilities of this phone are laudable and so is the choice of materials used to give it form- brass, walnut and leather or bakelite. I call it the ultimate pirate phone!

Multimedia concept phone: Does everything, almost!
Nowadays, cheap generic drugs multimedia-rich concept phones are popping out like anything. The latest here with us is a multimedia concept phone designed by Jakub Lekeš. The slider phone has a huge touchscreen display and even the back-lit keypad is touch-sensitive. One side of the phones shows a number of ports, including the memory card slot, audio jack and the USB connector. A sliding touch QWERTY keyboard is concealed under the display and there is a 4.3 megapixel autofocus camera with digital zoom support on the back. The most interesting feature is the side of the phone that shows the running track. The multihued lighting adds to the overall beauty of the device. I am sucker for large displays and QWERTY keyboards, so I am all praise for this concept design. More shots of the multimedia concept phone after the jump.

Nokia Strapup is the ideal tool for party people and it’s not quite a phone, in the proper meaning of the word. The bracelet-shaped device sends predefined messages to your friends, which are triggered by your movements, while dancing. No typing, no fuss… Just dance and your friends will find out where you are and what’re you doing, having a good time that is.

This HP iPAQ concept PDA phone may already be on the market for all we know, but its design has somewhat of an unique rugged look, thanks to the rubber margins. Motorola Piccolo Concept Phone – Female Oriented Device
Well hello beautiful! Where have you been all my life … and why do you look like a … console?! Yes, this is a handset for the ladies, but boy does it look like a gaming device for boys.
I’d like to feel the texture of Motorola Piccolo’s edges, as I bet it’s soft and neat to touch. I’m betting on a touchscreen phone here and I’m wondering what the deal with that space underneath the sliding mechanism is. A little hiding place for makeup tricks?
Nokia Morph
What would you like your cellphone to do? Try to come up with different ideas, solutions, and features then combine them into one cellphone concept, and you may agree with Nokia’s vision.
The Morph cellphone of Nokia is not in production yet, but the ideas were put into an animated video. Basically, they envision a device using nanotechnology that enables a phone to morph for increased productivity and convenience.

I wonder how many of the concepts and ideas actually appear 100% in the market? Sure its a good breeding ground for ideas but its more like pick n mix
Cool phones, but I’d prefer if the cellphone companies worked on fixing the issues with their current phones instead of trying to one-up each other and release flawed products just so they can be the first (or keep up with the first).
example: iphone signal issues and shitty breakable glass
